Delivery Driver

It's more fun with us! Domino's Pizza® delivery driver role involves engaging with customers, working as part of a team, and receiving comprehensive training. The position can be casual or more permanent, depending on the opportunity you’re seeking.

Drive your own career. Domino's Delivery Drivers often have pathways to advancement, including management and franchise ownership. You will be on the road delivering orders and may assist in-store as needed. Training is provided to cover deliveries, pizza preparation, and related tasks.

Domino's Delivery Drivers must be at least 18 years old and meet the following requirements.

General Job Duties

• Operate all equipment
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler
• Prepare product
• Receive and process telephone orders
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
• Clean equipment and facility on a daily basis

Communication Skills

• Ability to comprehend and provide correct written instructions
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person

Essential Functions/Skills

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
• Must be able to make correct monetary change
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to perform precise movements with speed
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen

• Friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills
• Valid Driver's license
• Reliable vehicle to use for deliveries
• Proof of car insurance
• Safe driving record meeting company standards
• Navigation skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks
• In-store temperatures range from 36 degrees in cooler to 90 degrees and above in some areas
• Sudden changes in temperature in work areas and outdoors
• Fumes from food odors
• Exposure to cornmeal dust
• Cramped quarters including walk-in cooler
• Hot surfaces/tools from ovens up to 500 degrees or higher
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts

• Talking and hearing on telephone
• Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks

• Depth perception
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces

• The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions

• Driving:
  Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area; a team member may make several deliveries per shift
• Standing:
  Most tasks are performed from a standing position
• Walking:
  Short distances for short durations
• Lifting:
  Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds; cases are often lifted from floor to shelving up to 7 ft high
• Carrying:
  Large cans and containers; trays of dough may weigh approximately 12 pounds per tray
• Pushing/Pulling:
  Move trays on dollies; some pushing and pulling required
• Climbing:
  Occasional navigation of stairs or ladders for prices, maintenance, or cleaning
• Stooping/Bending/Crouching/Stretching:
  Various movements at workstations and during stocking
• Reaching:
  Continuous reaching up, down, and forward
• Hand Tasks:
  Eye-hand coordination and frequent use of hands
