Stepp’s Towing & Heavy Transport is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Tow Truck Operators to join our team! We’re looking for candidates with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and effective problem‑solving abilities.

No Slip Seating – Keep Your Assigned Truck! All drivers must have their own set of tools once assigned.

Essential Functions
  • Operate Heavy Tow Trucks, Rollbacks, and Service Trucks efficiently and safely
  • Respond to Florida Traffic Incident Management Program calls and RISC
  • Work safely at accident scenes, often in traffic and all-weather conditions
  • Cooperate closely with law enforcement and other first responders
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers
  • Operate GPS mapping devices
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, bending, reaching, climbing
  • Significant physical strength and stamina

Qualifications
  • Class A CDL with at least 2 years of verifiable experience
  • Current DOT Medical Card
  • Proven heavy‑duty towing experience required
  • Registered in the DOT Clearinghouse
  • Clean driving record for the last 3 years
  • Able to pass background check and drug test
Commission Pay
  • Graduated commission pay scale starting at 25%
    • This pay structure should not be misconstrued as a salary‑paid position.
Schedule
  • 12‑hour shifts - Monday to Friday
    • On‑Call every 3rd night and every 3rd weekend of the month
