Coleman Worldwide Moving is hiring Final Mile drivers to load, transport, and unload goods. The role requires leadership of moving crews, daily customer interaction, and the ability to solve problems on the road. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $16‑$17 per hour based on experience.
Responsibilities- Transport goods using a company truck or tractor‑trailer as applicable.
- Lead the crew in loading shipments onto and off of trucks.
- Inspect and perform accurate inventory of shipments prior to loading.
- Assist with loading trucks and containers for interstate commerce.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip safety inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain required documentation, including driver logs, shipment paperwork, and DOT regulations.
- Lift and carry goods up to 50 pounds between residences and vehicles.
- Deliver packages weighing 50‑150 pounds to residential homes.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
- Clean driving record and compliance with a zero‑tolerance drug policy.
- Willingness to travel locally, intrastate, or interstate.
- Experience driving commercial straight trucks or tractor‑trailers (CDL mandatory).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to be on time and reliable.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations.
- Must lift objects up to 50 pounds and perform frequent squatting, bending, and stair use.
- Hours may include long periods of driving and both indoor and outdoor work.
- 40 hours of vacation pay after one year of employment.
- Four paid holidays after 90 days for full‑time employees.
