Delivery Driver Position

Domino's Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver pizzas and provide excellent customer service.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Ability to navigate within the delivery area and handle multi-story buildings.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

• Operate equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

• Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when working outside.
• In-store temperatures range from 36 to 90°F.
• Sudden changes in temperature inside and outside.
• Fumes from food odors.
• Exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Cramped quarters including walk-in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500 degrees or higher.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Physical tasks include driving, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, and hand tasks.

• Driving:
  Deliver pizzas within a designated area, make several deliveries per shift.
• Standing:
  Most tasks performed from a standing position.
• Walking:
  For short distances and durations.
• Lifting:
  Deliveries may include cases weighing up to 50 pounds; use hand truck to unload.
• Carrying:
  Heavy items such as large cans, pizza sauce, and dough trays.
• Pushing:
  Move trays on dollies requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force.
• Climbing:
  Navigate stairs or ladders infrequently.
• Stooping/Bending:
  Forward bending at the waist during pizza assembly; repeated frequently.
• Crouching/Squatting:
  Occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
• Reaching:
  Up, down, and forward continuously.
• Hand Tasks:
  Eye-hand coordination continuous; shaping dough requires forearm and wrist effort.
