Salary Range: $28.00 To $30.00 Hourly

Full-time | Monday-Friday | Early Morning Start Times | 1-2 Overnights per week may be required due to length of route

The Driver Lead role is responsible for overseeing the drivers to ensure all processes are completed properly on a daily basis. This includes but is not limited to payroll, maintenance, driver issues and shipping processes. This is a hands‑on position that will work with the team and lead by example. This position will also work closely with the Operations Manager to address any issues within the team or processes.

• Current Class A CDL Operator’s License
• 1-3 years (preferably 100,000 miles) previous driving experience
• Able to pass both pre‑employment and random drug tests as required by the DOT
• Able to pass driving history and background check process
• Possess a Federal Medical Card

• Main point of contact between the drivers and the transportation coordinator for all transportation/shipping issues
• Maintain/Process drivers payroll and coordination of vacation
• Responsible for hiring drivers/backup drivers
• Hire all temp drivers when needed
• Input and maintain maintenance records for all tractor/trailer equipment
• Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance of all tractor/trailer equipment
• Train new drivers and administer road tests
• Coach drivers and administer write‑ups
