- Accurately receive, store, ship, repackage and palletize product to meet sanitation, safety, security and productivity standards.
- Pick and pack (order picking and/or assembly of products in less than full case lots), light assembly (assembly of light mechanical or electrical component parts or sub-assemblies that may require the use of hand tools) and record storage.
- Repack or re-box cases per customer instructions; repair and recoup damaged goods as required.
- Count all product, compare to manifest and check shipments for damage, infestation and production code dates; report shortages, damages and mis-shipment on appropriate forms.
- Sign for inbound shipments when necessary; unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
- Efficiently stack and store merchandise; ensure correct number and type of product is picked; compare quantity, labeling and address with order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.
- Transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment; stencil, tag or mark orders as required; perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and repacking as needed.
- Accept signature for outbound as necessary; move product into trailers, rail cars or containers; assist in physical inventories and cycle counts; ensure proper stock rotation.
- Operate shrink-wrap machine; charge forklift battery/gas tanks as needed; repair pallets when necessary; clean railcars, trailers, and truck bays as requested; maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.

- Education & Experience: High school or G.E.D. degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. - Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s; perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. - Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Computer Operations: Ability to learn and effectively use software applications such as move management, timekeeping, HRIS and other software systems used in the performance of job duties; RF Scanner.
