Palmdale Oil Company provides bulk lubricant and fuel throughout Florida with over 20 statewide locations. We are the only Florida-based company that can cater to the specific commercial fuel needs of the industrial, mining, construction, ranching, golf services, automotive, landscaping, marinas, marine vessels, fleet, agricultural and government sectors with reliable service. Palmdale Oil procures its fuel supply from various terminals on both coasts of the state of Florida.

We have an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate at our Tampa location. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid background in Warehouse/Inventory Control and a desire to work for a fast-paced corporate organization. In addition to exceptional customer service skills, you must have a “roll‑up your sleeves” attitude.

Responsibilities for this position includes:

• Maintain warehouse inventory
• Assist with loading of our drivers’ trucks for delivery
• Keeping warehouse, office, and property clean and organized
• Receive shipments
• Load and unload box truck daily
• Organize warehouse daily
• Keep products in stock by blending drums and pails as needed
• Help unload bulk deliveries as needed
• Assemble and paint fuel tanks to go out to job site
• Clean bulk tank farms and yard
• Supporting the Plant Manager with projects as needed

The required skills for this position are:

• 2-3 years Warehouse experience – preferable in the oil industry
• Preferred but not required CDL Class B with Tanker and Haz Mat Endorsement
• Able to Lift 80 pounds
• Ability to multitask as this position will be working independently and have the ability to prioritize workload
• Available for overtime as required to meet business needs within the appropriate State/Federal regulations
• Detailed oriented
• Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to do basic math, to include calculating sales tax and invoice totals
• Oil and Lubricants knowledge is a plus, but not required
• Exceptional Customer Service Skills
• No fear of heights or confined spaces
• Positive and Professional Demeanor
