7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday–Friday

This position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift or other powered material handling equipment (MHE) to move, stack, or pick/pull merchandise. The role includes all phases of warehousing such as shipping, receiving, inventorying, product repackaging, palletizing and forklift operation.

• Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards, including daily inspection and maintenance.
• Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered MHE equipped with lifting devices.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate areas.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring accuracy for loading and shipments.
• Move product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers or containers.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Perform pick and pack, light assembly, labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.
• Keep appropriate records and reports to ensure proper inventory control and security measures are followed and maintained.
• Assist in physical inventories as required.

• Minimum 6months verifiable work experience in the prior 36months operating material handling equipment such as sit‑down/stand‑up forklift, reach truck, cherry/order picker, etc.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Physical requirements:
  
  able to lift and/or move up to 50pounds unassisted; climb a ladder; stand, walk, touch, handle, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; speak or hear.

• Outdoor and indoor shop environment with adequate ventilation.
• Exposure to vibration, poorly illuminated or awkward and confining work spaces.
• Work above ground level with falling hazards.
• Frequent lifting and carrying of items.
• Typical loud noises.
• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk or hear.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50pounds unassisted and carry and climb a ladder.
