Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator

Hours:

Start at 3am to 10am Monday to Friday.

Pay: $18 per hour

The Heavy Industrial Warehouse Associate is responsible for manually unloading trailers, receiving merchandise, and building pallets containing large and heavy products at an International Distribution Center (IDC). This physically demanding position involves handling oversized merchandise such as patio furniture, televisions, and air conditioners.

• Manually unload trailers and receive incoming merchandise.
• Handle large, heavy, and oversized products safely and efficiently.
• Sort, organize, stack, and build pallets according to warehouse procedures.
• Operate material-handling equipment, including electric ride-on pallet jacks and MHE order/cherry pickers.
• Inspect products for visible damage and report any discrepancies.
• Verify product labels, quantities, and receiving documentation.
• Move merchandise to designated storage and staging areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Follow all company policies, warehouse procedures, and safety requirements.
• Perform additional warehouse and general labor duties as assigned.

• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience.
• Experience operating an electric ride-on pallet jack.
• Experience operating an MHE order picker/cherry picker.
• Knowledge of receiving, unloading, pallet building, and material-handling procedures.
• Ability to read and understand product labels, work instructions, and safety information.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting and physically demanding work throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, squat, and climb as required.
• Ability to safely handle bulky and oversized merchandise.
