Warehouse Technician

Metropolitan Ministries, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Technician to support our mission of serving homeless and at-risk families. This role receives, sorts, stores, and distributes food, donations, and supplies for our programs. You will load and unload trucks, maintain accurate inventory records, and keep warehouse areas clean, safe, and organized. Working closely with staff and volunteers, you'll follow safety and quality standards while modeling our faith-based values of dignity, respect, and hope for every guest, donor, and partner we serve in the Tampa Bay community.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and verify incoming donations, food, and supplies
• Accurately store, label, and rotate inventory following FIFO and safety standards
• Pick, pack, and stage orders for program distribution and partner agencies
• Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse, dock, and storage areas
• Assist with inventory counts and data entry into inventory systems
• Collaborate with and guide volunteers working in the warehouse
• Follow all OSHA, safety, and organizational policies and procedures
