KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Administration
- Responsible to Manager, CIE/VM, ESH, Lead and Director, Adult & Elderly Services in all matters pertaining to the administration and development of partnerships with external stakeholders for community building purposes.
- Support policies and practices for the efficient and effective operation and management of services and assist Manager, CIE/VM, ESH Lead and Director in implementing those policies and practices.
- Support strategies and processes, as well as initiating, maintaining, and enhancing partnership relationships with community within the planning areas which include Citizen Consultative Committee (CCC), Resident Networks (RNs), SSOs, SGOs and others.
- Engage in all internal and external communication, ensuring the ESH’s brand is consistent, and all messaging is aligned to the ESH’s strategy, including social media presence.
- Nurture and maintain new and existing community partnerships, plan and implement the strategy for programmes and events to raise awareness and promote ESH.
- Support, provide and engage market research programmes with clients, beneficiaries, donors, communities, government departments as appropriate to promote services of ESH.
- Support, engage and initiate together with Asst. Manager and Manager for exploring potential new projects.
- Plan, advertise, prepare logistics and operations of community programmes which include the Eat, Play, Live event, Community Booth at Heartbeat@Bedok etc.
- Assist in organising and planning of annual events and other events gearing towards engaging the community. The annual events include Stakeholder/Volunteer Appreciation Day, Volunteer Engagement Sessions and other events organised by the team.
- Prepare administrative programme and guest lists for annual events and other events.
- Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvement.
- Assist the Volunteer Manager in supporting the management of the volunteer lifecycle, including recruitment, induction, deployment, engagement, recognition, and retention.
- Coordinate and run volunteer engagement and appreciation activities, including logistics and on-the-ground execution.
- Maintain accurate volunteer records and databases, prepare reports for management and funding partners, gather feedback, and handle related administrative documentation.
- Liaise with corporate partners, schools, and community stakeholders to support volunteer deployments and activities.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing/or related discipline
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in community partnerships in social services agencies/government agencies/IPC charities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in working both independently and as part of a small team in fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Skills to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize tasks.
- Able to work in the evenings, Saturdays and/or Sundays.
