Nursery Room Leader

• Location: Tamworth, England, United Kingdom
• Job Type: Full-Time – 40 hours per week
• Salary: £13.21 per hour (£27,476.80 per annum)

As Room Leader, you will oversee the care and development of children within the baby room, leading a team of practitioners to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

• Support children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
• Lead the key person approach to ensure secure attachments
• Maintain accurate learning journals and records using nursery systems
• Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
• Model professionalism and support team development
• Ensure EYFS statutory requirements are met
• Promote safeguarding, health, and safety standards

A passion for outdoor learning and strong knowledge of early childhood development are essential.

• Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare
• Experience working with children under 2 years
• Strong understanding of child development
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Interest in outdoor learning and forest school activities
