Administrative Assistant (Taneytown, MD)
Starting Pay: $18.75 to $23.50 per hour
Shift: 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday – Friday
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our cultivation and manufacturing operations, contributing to key initiatives and providing administrative support across the organization.
Responsibilities- General administrative duties within a cultivation and manufacturing environment.
- Label creation of all product SKUs to meet scheduled delivery to manufacturing.
- Work on general and special projects for the management team.
- Provide support to visitors and escort them throughout the facility.
- Manage mail, filing systems, order office equipment/supplies.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and conference calls.
- Record meeting notes and minutes; send facility‑wide electronic notices.
- Update and enforce general office procedures.
- Coordinate and support employee engagement events.
- Maintain a pleasant disposition when greeting visitors and guests.
- Gather and ship production materials, collateral, packaging, etc.
- Prepare meeting materials and assist with PowerPoint, Adobe, and Microsoft Word presentations.
- Ensure kitchenette and breakroom supplies are stocked.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- High school education (college preferred).
- 3–5 years of administrative experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Expert knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Hands‑on experience with office machines (printers, multi‑line phone system).
- Excellent time‑management skills with ability to multi‑task and prioritize.
- Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational planning skills in a fast‑paced environment.
- Creative mindset with ability to suggest improvements.
- Self‑starter, able to work independently and manage own time effectively.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Allergen warning – potential exposure to dust, pollen, and plant pathogens.
- Exposure to cleaning solvents (high volumes of isopropyl alcohol).
- All jobs require daily use of provided PPE: masks, harnets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, scrubs, non‑slip shoes, and Tyvek suits as necessary.

- Exposure to CO₂ manufacturing procedures at OSHA‑approved levels.
