Drafter
EVAPCO Inc. is an Employee-Owned manufacturing company with global resources and solutions for worldwide heat transfer applications headquartered in Taneytown, MD and has an immediate full-time opening for a 3D Drafter. We are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented person to join our team!
Specific Responsibilities
:
- Develops models and detailed design drawings according to written and verbal specifications
- Consults with Engineers and Project Coordinators to resolve design problems
- Ensures that dimensions of equipment are accurately reflected in all designs
- Create a Bill of Materials based on 3D models
:
- Associate's degree or certification in Computer Drafting and Design Technology (or a related field) required
- 2+ years of professional highly proficient 3D modeling experience required, such as Solid Edge or equivalent software.
- Demonstrates ability to manage multiple assignments/projects with minimal supervision and strong attention to detail
- Must possess excellent organizational skills and ability to meet competing deadlines
- Must be able to balance working in a collaborative work environment with independently completing work tasks/projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in a sheet metal manufacturing environment a plus
- A working knowledge of Autodesk Revit BIM software a plus
Normal Business hours:
Monday through Friday 8:30 A.M.
- 5:00 P.M.
