Senior Accounting & Tax

Lead and oversee accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

Review and analyze financial statements and management reports, providing insights to support strategic decision-making

Take ownership of monthly and annual closing processes, ensuring timely and high-quality reporting

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory reporting obligations

Oversee account reconciliations and proactively resolve discrepancies and issues

Drive improvements in accounting processes, internal controls, and system efficiencies

Act as the main point of contact for audits and coordinate with cross-functional teams, including finance and tax

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to support team performance and development

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in an insurance company or consulting firm (with exposure to insurance clients)

Strong knowledge of IFRS, with hands-on experience or exposure to IFRS 17

Candidates with professional certification (CA or CPA) will be highly preferred

Proven experience in financial reporting, closing processes, regulatory reporting, and preparation of financial statements, including reporting to OJK and other external parties

Proficient in preparing internal reports such as underwriting results, marketing reports, branch profit and loss, and other management reports

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines

Strong command of English, both written and spoken
