As a Housekeeping Trainee, you will work alongside experienced professionals in one of Ubud's most enchanting boutique properties, learning the art of creating pristine, welcoming spaces that define the Dijiwa experience. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop hands‑on skills in luxury housekeeping operations while immersing yourself in Indonesian hospitality culture and Balinese traditions.

In this role, you will support our dedicated housekeeping team in maintaining the exceptional standards that our guests expect from Dijiwa Sanctuaries. You will learn to prepare rooms to the highest level of cleanliness and presentation, ensuring every detail meets our exacting standards. Your work will directly contribute to creating memorable stays for our guests, as you understand how a beautifully maintained environment enhances their overall experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in daily cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to Dijiwa's exacting standards
  • Learn and apply proper cleaning techniques, including eco‑friendly and sustainable practices
  • Support turn‑down service procedures for evening guest preparation
  • Help maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and report needs to supervisors
  • Participate in training sessions on hospitality standards, safety protocols, and guest interaction
  • Collaborate with concierge and front office teams to accommodate special guest requests
  • Contribute to maintaining the peaceful, serene atmosphere that defines the Dijiwa experience
  • Follow all safety, health, and hygiene protocols with attention and discipline
Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a hospitality management program, tourism program, or related field. High school diploma or equivalent required. Basic English communication skills (both written and verbal) are preferred. Valid Indonesian national  (KTP). Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays as required for hotel operations. No prior housekeeping experience required—comprehensive training will be provided.
