Malaysia HR Specialist (Client Delivery)
Location: Malaysia (Remote, KL region preferred)
Department: Global HR Delivery Experience

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Malaysia HR Specialist to support client delivery operations in Malaysia. This role focuses on end-to-end HR administration, compliance, and client coordination under EOR and global workforce management models.
You will play a key role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely HR delivery while acting as a local HR subject matter expert for Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities 1 End-to-End HR Operations (Malaysia)- Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, employment contracts, probation confirmation, transfers, and offboarding
- Prepare and review employment contracts in compliance with Malaysian labor law
- Coordinate documentation, statutory registrations, and compliance requirements
- Handle leave management, employment letters, and HR documentation
- Support monthly payroll preparation and data validation
- Ensure compliance with Malaysia statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, etc.)
- Liaise with payroll vendors and internal teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Support final pay calculations and termination settlements
- Serve as the local HR point of contact for assigned clients
- Respond to HR-related inquiries and provide guidance aligned with Malaysian labor law
- Coordinate between clients, employees, and internal delivery teams
- Escalate complex labor or compliance matters when necessary
- Ensure all employment practices comply with Malaysian Employment Act and related regulations
- Monitor updates in local labor laws and statutory requirements
Support audits and compliance checks
- Contribute to the development and optimization of Malaysia HR SOPs
- Maintain knowledge documentation and compliance trackers
- Improve efficiency and delivery quality through structured processes
Mandatory
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience in Malaysia
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor law and statutory framework
- Experience in payroll coordination and statutory compliance
- English proficiency (written and spoken), Chinese and/or Bahasa Malaysia as a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients or projects simultaneously
- Experience in EOR / outsourced HR / Staffing / HR services company
- Experience supporting multinational clients
- Exposure to global payroll or cross-border workforce management
- Familiarity with HRIS systems
- Knowing about other APAC countries' HR practice, Singapore preferred
- Exposure to global HR and cross-border workforce management
