Job Summary
The Commercial Vehicle Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and market expansion for commercial vehicles, including buses and trucks. This role develops sales strategies, manages key accounts, builds dealer and fleet partnerships, and leads the sales team to achieve revenue targets while expanding market share. Experience in electric commercial vehicles is highly valued.
Key Responsibility- Develop and execute sales strategies for commercial vehicles to achieve annual sales targets.
- Manage sales activities for buses, trucks, and fleet customers across assigned markets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with corporate, government, and fleet accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and strategic customers.
- Lead, coach, and monitor sales team performance to maximize results.
- Prepare quotations, tenders, and commercial proposals for customers.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demand to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and management reports regularly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of sales experience, preferably in commercial vehicle, truck, bus, or fleet sales.
- Minimum 2 years of managerial experience leading a sales team.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
- Strong understanding of the commercial vehicle market, tender process, and B2B sales cycle.
- Experience handling electric vehicles is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Willing to travel frequently for customer and dealer visits.
