Position Overview

The Concierge serves as the first point of contact for guests, managing front‑desk operations and ensuring a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment. The role assists with guest check‑in/out, responds to inquiries, and coordinates transportation and security. This limited part‑time concierge is designed to support weekend operations with regular need for Saturday and Sunday coverage (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM). Hours are scheduled based on business needs and typically total fewer than 20 hours per week.

The position is not eligible for benefits.

Pay and Hours

Pay rate: $19.54 per hour. Flexibility to support additional shifts during the week or outside of standard hours is a plus.

Essential Functions
  • Greet guests and manage check‑in and check‑out procedures (30%)
  • Provide information about lodge amenities and community resources (20%)
  • Coordinate transportation and EMPOWER Program services and schedules (15%)
  • Respond to guest requests, concerns, and emergencies (15%)
  • Maintain organized front‑desk area and accurate guest records (10%)
  • Monitor lobby security and implement safety protocols (10%)
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Additional education or training in hospitality management or customer service a plus
  • Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and multitask
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multi‑line phone systems
  • Excellent customer service and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Travel Requirements

Minimal travel required.

Physical Requirements

The role may require extended periods of standing and walking, occasional lifting and moving of luggage or packages, and other manual tasks to assist guests. Physical endurance is necessary to handle a fast‑paced environment with multiple tasks.
