Position Overview

The Clinical Site Manager manages the day-to-day clinical operations at our Freedom Hill Community Health Center location in Tarboro, NC. This position coordinates day-to-day clinical operations, providing patients and staff with an efficient and safe environment of care and serves as a focal point of contact for pharmacists, home health care agencies, referral sources, and contract laboratory. This position reports to the Director of Clinical Services.

THIS POSITION OFFERS A 40-HOUR WORKWEEK, NO WEEKENDS, FULL BENEFITS PACKAGE, BI-ANNUAL BONUS, 12 PAID HOLIDAYS, BI-WEEKLY PAY.

  • Supervise nursing staff, ensuring competency of employees, evaluating performance and providing corrective action, as needed.
  • Coordinate workflow between nursing staff and providers. Develop and publish a monthly work schedule.
  • Coordinate clinical activities with the clinical and front office staff.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for staff and visitors according to OSHA standards.
  • Order and maintain an accurate inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Consider cost saving alternatives and utilize outside resources wisely, if available.
  • Maintain the integrity of medical equipment; purchase, repair, calibration controls and maintenance.
  • Serve as a liaison with community agencies in coordinating services for patients.
  • Serve as a point of contact for students completing clinical rotations in the clinic.
  • Provide in-service training to nursing staff. Topics will be chosen based on needs of staff, clinic, and current health care trends.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Education
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Three years in a healthcare environment with supervisory/management background.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of North Carolina.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Bachelor degree in public administration, business administration/management, or healthcare administration.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of windows-based environment and EHR/EMR experience.
  • Basic knowledge of physician office documentation standards.
  • Active North Carolina Driver License – Must have transportation available during the workday for frequent local travel within and out of the community.
Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8am - 5pm, 8 hour shift, day shift

Wednesday 11 am - 8 pm, day/evening shift

8 hour shift

Base Pay Overview

The starting pay for this position is $85,280.00. Please keep in mind that actual salary will vary based on various factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
