Position: Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 2
** Role Overview*
* Sodexo is seeking a dynamic  
** Environmental Services Operations Manager 2
** for ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital, a 117-bed acute care facility, and is one of nine hospitals in the ECU Health System, serving patients and communities across Eastern North Carolina. This position will manage a team of 20 individuals on
** Day Shift
** and supports this progressive organization by providing leadership for our Environmental team in the delivery of safe, sanitary, and innovative services to our patients, customers and hospital employees in a variety of settings.  This role will support floor care projects, payroll, and lead the team in engagement.  Preferred candidates will have experience in Environmental Services, Hotels housekeeping and/or Custodial Services, military service, and excellent customer service skills.  

Sodexo is seeking a true self-starter who can lead a team under minimal supervision.

** What You'll Do*
* + implement performance improvement and quality assurance programs targeted to improve customer satisfaction.

+ Interact with patients and the nursing staff.

+ Customer Service Training for our front-line staff

+ Conducting patient ready room inspections and patient surveys

+ Participates and adds value to hospital committees as necessary (i.e. Patient Satisfaction Committee, Nursing, Administration, HCAHPS Committee, etc.)

** What You Bring*
* + Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implement company policies

+ Previous experience working in a high-volume facility

+ Strong management skills, preferably in health care

+ 2-4 years of management experience preferred.
