Schedules: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM – 3:30 PM to 12:30 AM – 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Pay: 1st shift $15.00 – 2nd shift $17.00
Probationary period: 90 days with possible increase based on performance and attendance. After completion employee may transfer directly to the company and may be eligible for additional increase.
SummaryA wood reel manufacturing facility is seeking a General Laborer to assist with assembling precut wooden pieces into wood reels used for winding cables or strands.
Key Responsibilities- Use hand and power tools, including hammers, nail guns, sander, strip wrap, as needed, and read tape measure.
- Follow instructions provided by the lead person or supervisor, and other authorized personnel.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area for you and others.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company protocols. MANDATORY USE OF PPE.
- Support general operations as assigned. Other duties may be assigned if your line or department is down.
- Must wear steel-toe shoes, vest, safety glasses and gloves at all times on-site (MANDATORY).
- Requires ability to stand for long periods, twist and bend frequently, walk for extended periods, and perform continuous hand use.
- Must be able to lift 35–55 lbs regularly without restrictions.
- Ability to tolerate and work in changing inclement weather conditions, like hot and cold.
- Strong adherence to safety, time, and attendance policies; company is very demanding.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment, and must be able to work overtime during the high season.
