Position Overview

The Team Lead is a dual-role position combining hands‑on technical execution with frontline leadership. You will be responsible for supporting the department supervisor, ensuring operational continuity, and directly developing a team of "Scalers." A successful candidate must be highly organized, tech-savvy enough to navigate ERP systems (Net Suite), and capable of performing every position on the line to lead by example.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Employee Development
  • Coaching & Mentoring: Teach, train, coach, and actively develop Scalers to maximize efficiency, accuracy, and career growth.
  • Training Compliance: Oversee and ensure that all team members complete their mandatory monthly Alchemy training.
  • Supervisor Support: Act as the supervisor’s right hand in managing daily department operations and maintaining floor presence.
  • Issue Escalation: Strictly follow and enforce the company's established Escalation Process when operational, safety, or quality issues arise.
Daily Operations & Administration
  • Line Readiness: Verify that the team has all necessary tools, physical equipment, and paperwork before production begins.
  • Attendance Tracking: Review crew sheets daily to verify attendance, and immediately report absences or tardiness to the Supervisor.
  • Communication: Check and respond to company emails daily to stay aligned with cross‑functional updates.
  • Cross-Training: Maintain full competency to step in and perform any job position within the department at a moment's notice.
Inventory & Net Suite Systems Management
  • Material Tracking: Ensure 100% compliance with inventory scanning, verifying that all ingredients are scanned correctly to their respective work orders.
  • Net Suite Operations: Competently navigate Net Suite to review open work orders, print physical work orders for the floor, and properly close out completed work orders.
  • Month-End Inventory: Lead and complete physical inventory counts accurately at the end of every month.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Systems

    Experience:

    Proficiency with Net Suite (or a similar ERP system like SAP/Oracle) is highly preferred.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Ability to use RF barcode scanners, basic email clients, and printing systems.
  • Leadership

    Skills:

    Proven experience in training, coaching, or leading small teams, preferably in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
  • Physical & Operational Capability: Must be willing and able to learn and perform all physical tasks required of the team (including scaling/weighing ingredients).
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in mathematical counting for month-end inventory and data entry for Net Suite closing.
