The General Production position at our Tarboro Plant is essential for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our production line. This role involves working collaboratively with team members to meet production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The successful candidate will play a key role in the assembly and packaging of products, contributing directly to the overall success of our retail trade operations.

Attention to detail and adherence to established processes are critical to minimize waste and maximize productivity. Ultimately, this position supports our commitment to delivering exceptional products to our customers in a timely manner.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

Preferred qualifications include familiarity with safety regulations and quality control processes and experience operating production machinery.

Responsibilities include operating machinery and equipment in accordance with safety and operational guidelines, assembling and packaging products according to specifications and quality standards, monitoring production processes and reporting any issues or discrepancies to supervisors, maintaining a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency, and collaborating with team members to achieve daily production goals and improve processes.

The required skills for this role include attention to detail, teamwork, basic mechanical skills, and time management skills.
