$15.00 to $18.50 per hour
Commission up to 8% on transactions, average additional $5.45 per hour.

Assistant Store Manager responsible for day‑to‑day operations, leading and developing store employees, recruiting and retaining talent, maximizing financial goals, and managing customer relations.
Partners with Store Manager to analyze financial statements, ensure asset protection, promote business, and target new customers. Operates across jewelry, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and general merchandise.
Hourly wage plus commission based on productivity and a performance bonus.
Responsibilities- Facilitate a customer‑centric environment through friendly engagement and rapid issue resolution.
- Train Pawnbrokers to meet company standards.
- Recruit top talent via company channels.
- Open and close store, count cash drawers and merchandise, and ensure asset protection procedures.
- Maintain inventory control, property safety, documentation, and secure customer loans.
- Administer inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, systems, and reporting.
- Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability.
- Ensure operating standards meet or exceed company levels.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes.
- Complete assigned tasks and self‑development training.
- Communicate store mission and profit objectives to employees.
- Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge.
- Act as manager on duty in absence of Store Manager.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Willing to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 pounds).
- Demonstrated supervisory ability.
- Firearms handling ability and certification.
- Ready to assist customers outside store and retrieve items from exterior storage.
- Minimum age 18.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to work multiple locations as needed.
- Flexible retail schedule: weekends and holidays included.
- Will work 40+ hours per week (not guaranteed).
- Computer literate, POS operation and common office machines.
- Multi‑task in fast‑paced environment.
- Detail‑oriented, strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Mandatory cash‑handling experience.
- Independent work capability with minimal supervision.
- Excellent work ethic and business sense.

Commission Plan InformationAssistant Store Managers can earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit of their performance.
