$15.00 to $18.50 per hour. Commission structure pays for every transaction processed. Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 8% on transactions, possible average $5.45 per hour on top of hourly rate.

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six months of management/3rd key experience. Assistant Store Managers are accountable for day‑to‑day operations, employee development, recruitment, financial performance, and customer satisfaction. The role partners with the Store Manager and manages store assets, promotions, and new customer acquisition. It involves general merchandise and, in FFL locations, firearms.
Assistant Store Managers receive a base hourly wage plus commission and a store performance bonus. Pay is based on location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities- Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers and rapidly addressing issues.
- Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, count cash drawers and merchandise, and ensure procedures protect assets.
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
- Administer store processes: inventory, loan management, merchandising, presentation, systems, and reporting.
- Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
- Meet or exceed First Cash operating standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity.
- Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development.
- Communicate clearly with employees regarding mission and profit objectives.
- Remain current on product knowledge.
- Act as manager on duty in absence of Store Manager.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated supervisory ability.
- Ability to work with firearms and obtain certification.
- May assist customers on the exterior of the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
- Minimum age 18.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Flexible to work multiple locations.
- Adaptive to flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Will work 40+ hours a week; hours not guaranteed.
- Computer literate; proficient with POS systems and office equipment.
- Strong multi‑tasking, detail‑oriented, analytical skills.
- Cash handling experience required.
- Independent work ability with minimal supervision.
- Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.
Assistant Store Managers have the potential to earn 2–8% commission, based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Further details are provided during the interview process.
