Speech Language Pathologist; SLP in Tarboro, NC

Step into a rewarding role serving students from preschool through 12th grade as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. With two openings available, youll have the opportunity to make a difference supporting childrens communication skills in a dynamic school setting. One position focuses on a K-12 caseload, while the other is dedicated to preschoolers, allowing you to match your passion and expertise to the age group you serve best.

• Active North Carolina SLP license required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) mandatory
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 55 students

• Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services to students according to IEPs
• Complete assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student success
• Attend IEP meetings and participate in team-based decision making
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students

Enjoy a consistent schedule with 40 hours per week across five days, supporting either preschoolers or K-12 students depending on your assignment.
