General Laborer - Mechanical

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00/hour

We are looking for a General Laborer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and shares our commitment to continuous improvement. This person will be responsible for performing a variety of construction, industrial, and mechanical support duties. This role will work throughout the state of Florida.

• Driver’s License
• Own means of transportation
• Capable to work at heights
• Travel required
• Some Painting and Sandblasting experience
• Experience working with tools and equipment on a construction site

• Assisting with erection, modification, bracing, dismantling of scaffolding and other temporary structures.
• Building, installing, maintaining, and dismantling containment systems used for blasting and coating operations.
• Performing abrasive blasting and surface preparation activities as directed, including preparation of steel and other surfaces for protective coatings.
• Assisting with welding, fabrication, cutting, fitting, and related repair work as required.
• Operating construction equipment, power tools, hand tools, equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Loading, unloading, transporting, and properly storing tools, equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Performing excavation activities, including digging trenches, back filling, and preparing work areas for construction and industrial projects.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following safety procedures.
• Assisting skilled craft and field personnel with construction, blasting, coasting, welding, mechanical, scaffolding, and maintenance activities as needed.
• Following all project specifications, work instructions, OSHA requirements, etc.
• Communicating regularly with supervisors and other project personnel.
