Safety Engineer – Industrial Manufacturing
Onsite – U.S. Manufacturing Facility
$100,000 Base Salary (depending on experience)
About the RoleWe are seeking an EHS / Safety Engineer to support a large-scale industrial manufacturing environment.
This role is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating occupational hazards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supporting initiatives that improve employee safety, environmental performance, and operational reliability.
The position works closely with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and EHS leadership to implement safety programs, investigate incidents, and support continuous improvement across plant operations.
Key Responsibilities Safety & Risk Management- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate occupational hazards across manufacturing operations
- Promote workplace safety through engineering controls, policies, and training initiatives
- Support the design and implementation of machine safety systems and protective equipment
- Investigate workplace incidents, injuries, and near misses to identify root cause and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and safety regulations
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and environmental assessments
- Review equipment, machinery, and facility designs to ensure safety compliance and hazard mitigation
- Provide input into process and product safety improvements
- Support EHS-related capital projects and equipment modifications
- Support and implement EHS policies, procedures, and safety programs

- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field preferred
- OR
- Experience in industrial manufacturing, heavy industry, or plant environments
- Experience with:

- Experience working with OSHA and environmental regulations
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional)
- OSHA-related certifications
Experience with:
- Noise/sound measurement
- Respirator fit testing
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to identify risks and implement corrective actions
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a plant environment
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Direct impact on employee safety and plant performance
