Key Responsibilities:
- Lead weekly Life Nights, Bible Café, and retreats using Life Teen resources
- Coordinate Life Teen Mass roles and collaborate with the band
- Oversee 9th Grade Confirmation preparation and related events
- Recruit, train, and support adult Core Team volunteers
- Maintain communication with families and manage social media/content
- Attend Life Teen events (Steubenville, Leadership Conference, summer camp)
We are seeking a passionate, practicing Catholic to serve as our Director of Youth Ministry to lead a vibrant high school ministry rooted in the Life Teen model. This role focuses on building meaningful relationships with teens, organizing weekly Life Nights and Bible Café, coordinating the Life Teen Mass, and leading major events such as our annual Advent retreat, Steubenville trips, and Life Teen summer programs.
The Director of Youth Ministry also oversees our 9th Grade Confirmation program and collaborates closely with parish staff, volunteers, and families to create a welcoming environment where young people grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.
The ideal candidate is energetic, well organized, comfortable with public speaking, and committed to the teachings and mission of the Catholic Church. Regular evening/weekend work is required, along with routine office hours.
Experience in youth ministry, event coordination, or parish life is essential; familiarity with Life Teen is a plus. A strong theological background rooted in the Catholic faith is also a necessary foundation for this leadership position.
