• Supports evidence‑based practice by identifying expected patient outcomes and using clinical guidelines.
• Develops and implements nursing diagnoses and care plans for wound, ostomy, and incontinent patients.
• Collaborates with healthcare team members to report clinical information and suggests interventions.
• Coordinates trial and selection of skin, wound, and ostomy products with the healthcare team and Materials Management Department.
• Provides ongoing education and competency training for clinical staff on skin integrity and wound care.
• Participates in discharge planning by identifying post‑hospital care needs. Integrates ethical decision‑making and research findings into daily nursing practice.

• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification [Required]

• Associate’s of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor’s of Nursing [Preferred]

• 1+ years of nursing practice experience [Required]
• 1+ years of practice in which leadership and teaching competence has been demonstrated [Required]
• Experience as a wound care nurse in an acute care setting [Required]

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON) [Required]
