Job DescriptionThe Product Manager leads the strategy and drives the commercial performance of a portfolio of software and equipment products, while partnering with Product Owners to ensure effective execution. This role owns product P&L, drives growth, and aligns product direction with business goals and market opportunities. Leveraging customer and market insights, the Product Manager defines value-driven solutions, supports go-to-market execution, and partners cross-functionally to deliver high-impact results.
Success in this role requires strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence, lead, and execute across teams in an Agile environment.
- Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and own the long-term product vision and multi-year roadmap across product lines (e.g., IntelliVIEW, eShop, Equipment Software)
- Lead the 3P-STP-5P marketing strategy (Customer, Competitor, Company; Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning; Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People) for each product category
- P&L Ownership & Business Performance
- Own product-level P&L, including revenue growth, profitability, and market penetration
- Monitor product performance metrics and adjust strategy to maximize value and ROI
- Market & Customer Insight Leadership
- Lead deep market analysis including CM/LBM trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies (e.g., automation, CAD/CAM, cloud solutions)
- Go-to-Market (GTM) & Commercial Enablement
- Develop and support go-to-market strategies for new products and major releases
- Enable sales teams through training on product positioning, competitive differentiation, and objection handling
- Sales & Customer Engagement
- Participate in key customer meetings, sales cycles, and industry events to support growth and gather insights
- Build and maintain relationships with strategic accounts and industry influencers
- Portfolio & Stakeholder Leadership
- Propose and prioritize product investments based on ROI, customer impact, and strategic alignment
- Communicate product vision, strategy, and performance to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Cross-Functional Alignment
- Ensure alignment across Product Owners, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Support, and Operations
- Translate business strategy into clear direction for Product Owners and delivery teams
