Digital Solutions Product Manager

Position Summary

The Digital Solutions Product Manager is responsible for maximizing the adoption of digital products and services to customers throughout the Thompson Tractor territory. This position will provide strategic management, specialized product knowledge, sales support and reporting for Thompson Tractor’s digital product portfolio. Branch and dealership sales objectives must be met while working with customers to increase and expand their use of digital products offered by the dealership.

The Digital Solutions Product Manager will demonstrate initiative, commitment to teamwork, enthusiasm for customer service, and dedication to providing value for our customers.

• Develop an approved comprehensive Digital Product strategy for Thompson Tractor.
• Oversee, coordinate, and direct new digital product initiatives to provide stickiness through Digital.
• Evaluate eCommerce site(s) for sales growth, customer retention and profitability
• Manage eCommerce (e.g.,  and Integrated Procurement) tactics to exceed growth targets
• Manage digital service (e.g., Vision Link) tactics to exceed growth targets
• Expand the usage of Artificial Intelligence to improve dealership and customer operations.
• Manage all future digital product monetization efforts for the dealership, incorporating such product(s) into the Digital Product strategy and developing tactics to exceed growth targets
• Work with Marketing to develop promotional plan(s) with projects, tools and reporting to support the sales tactics of digital products
• Evaluate, adjust and/or develop training needs and programs for sales personnel regarding digital product sales
• Provide technical expertise for digital products
• Monitor and report digital product(s) performance
• Analyze digital product performance to find opportunities for growth and expansion and/or course correction for Digital Product strategy and tactics
• Provide liaison support between customer, Thompson Tractor and Caterpillar
• Work with Caterpillar Reps and Product Groups to utilize all national and OTO programs
• Complete other duties as assigned

• College degree preferred

• A minimum of five years’ experience in digital sales and/or relevant experience is preferred.
• Experience using personal computers and basic typing skills is required.
• Candidates must possess the ability to quickly acquire the following required Skills and

• Work is normally performed in an office environment.
• Limited exposure to physical risk and all-weather conditions is associated with this position.
• Some overnight travel will be required.
