Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Salary:
Up to $65,000 per year
Full-Time | Comprehensive Benefits Package

A Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking an organized and dependable Staffing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining staffing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for all nursing departments while supporting daily facility operations.

This position requires strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain nursing department schedules for all shifts
  • Coordinate staffing coverage for call-outs, vacations, leaves, and open shifts
  • Communicate staffing needs with nursing leadership and agency partners as needed
  • Monitor staffing levels to ensure compliance with state and federal staffing requirements
  • Maintain accurate staffing records and attendance reports
  • Assist with payroll preparation and timekeeping reconciliation
  • Track overtime and work to minimize unnecessary labor costs
  • Support onboarding and scheduling of new hires
  • Communicate professionally with employees regarding schedule updates and staffing needs
  • Assist with PBJ staffing data collection and reporting as needed
Qualifications
  • Previous staffing or scheduling experience in a skilled nursing facility, healthcare, or long-term care setting preferred
  • Knowledge of nursing schedules and staffing requirements preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage changing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and staffing/payroll software systems
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and professional
