Warehouse Clerk

Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Clerk in Taunton, Massachusetts.

• Hourly Pay: $22.00 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  Monday-Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year clerical or warehouse experience preferred
• 1+ year forklift operator experience preferred
• 1+ year Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Flexible, self-driven, fast-paced
• Multi-tasking, highly organized, excellent time management
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up

• Coordinate activities with clerks from other floor areas, customers, and suppliers as needed
• Use WMS system to update area or shift metrics
• Generate daily, weekly, or monthly reports, memos, and summaries
• Perform floor work and additional duties as assigned
• Perform basic administrative tasks for area or shift, maintain filing systems
• Gather and provide information to floor employees in area of support
• Coordinate activities, meetings, communication for the specific area or shift
• Perform other duties as assigned depending on area supported or location-specific
