ScheduleFull-time, 40 hours per week (Night Shift: 11 p.m. – 7 a.m.)
SalaryAnnual: $44,292.82 – $57,197.14
Duties and Responsibilities- Operate a Cisco console and emergency paging system to contact and dispatch emergency personnel.
- Transmit radio messages in accordance with FCC rules and regulations.
- Monitor radio frequencies, evaluate information, and forward data.
- Operate radio transmitting and receiving equipment (fixed stations and mobile units).
- Greet and direct visitors; answer questions and provide information related to agency rules and regulations.
- Bilingual or multilingual fluency (given the population served).
- Prior experience in code calling, dispatch, or communications.

Special RequirementsAfter appointment, appointees must obtain a valid Restricted Radiotelephone Operator's permit issued by the FCC.
