Inpatient Psychiatrist - Academic Affiliation - South of Boston
Full-time
OverviewHospital (affiliated with DMH) seeks Board certified or eligible psychiatrists for full-time attending positions in a general adult psychiatric unit. The hospital is a Joint Commission accredited (JCAHO) facility operated by the Southeast Area of the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health.
Responsibilities- Attend on a 166-bed continuing & acute care facility, providing inpatient services to adults and geriatrics, as well as forensic evaluations.
- On call available for extra compensation, but not required.
- Psychiatrists have the option of becoming full-time faculty of the Tufts University School of Medicine and Boston University School of Medicine.
- Board certified or eligible psychiatrists.
