Job DescriptionBristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School is seeking a Career & Professional Readiness Instructor. The Career & Professional Readiness Teacher role is designed to ensure every student graduates with exceptional career readiness, professional presence, and a competitive advantage in the workforce and higher education. This educator will design and deliver comprehensive instruction aligning with Massachusetts Career & Technical Education Frameworks and in professional development, career exploration, workplace competencies, and personal branding—culminating in students' successful completion of their senior project, Portrait of a Graduate requirements and capstone defense.
The position requires an innovative educator who can bridge technical education with professional skills, preparing students to excel and lead in the workforce.
- Massachusetts Preliminary or Professional Vocational Technical Teacher license (Chapter 74) in any technical area, OR
- Massachusetts Vocational Technical Cooperative Education Coordinator license (Chapter 74), OR
- Massachusetts Initial or Professional Teacher license in any academic area and minimum 5 years documented experience in career/technical education, career counseling, or workforce development, OR
- Massachusetts School Guidance Counselor license (5-12) with demonstrated experience in career development and technical education settings
Position Type: Full-time
Job Requirements- Pay Range: $50,692 - $119,013 depending on teaching and Chapter 74 experience.
