• Split work between the cleanroom environment, following all required protocols and procedures and the office.
• Supportahighlevelofcleanlinessbycompletingscheduledhousekeepingtasks.
• Complywithallcompanypolicies,SOP(Standard Operating Procedures ),Work Instructions,andrecordkeepingrequirements.
• ComplywithallEHSprotocolsandrequirements.
• Complywithallhealthandsafety,HR,environmentalqualityandcybersecurityguidelinesandproceduresinternallyandwithinthescopeofbusiness,ISO,andregulatoryrequirementsasitpertainstothejobfunction.
• Haveclearunderstandingofchemicalsandsubstancesintheworkplaceandfollowstrictguidanceforhandlingofsuchsubstances,whichcouldincludePPErequirements.
• Fosteracollaborativeworkenvironmentandpromoteteamworkacrossdepartments.
• Therolemayrequireadegreeofflexibilityinworkinghours,whichwillbediscussedandagreedtosupportbothindividualandorganizationalneeds.
• Adhere to the competency management process, completing assigned tasks, training and approvals in a timely manner.
• Use computerized tools and software to follow process and routine tasks, accurately recording all works carried out for traceability and within the scope of the role.
• Beaccountableforongoingobjectives.
• Supportscontinuousimprovementinitiatives.
• Have intermediate level of experience and competence with troubleshooting.
• Liaise with other site functions to ensure daily targets are met.
• Havegoodcompetenceandexperiencewiththefollowing:
• In-Line Metrology(ILM) toolswithanunderstandingofapplicationandoperation.
• Destructivemetrologytoolswithanunderstandingofapplicationandoperation.
• Deviceprocessingequipmentwithanunderstandingofapplicationandoperation.
• Chemicaletching.
• Electricalandopticaltestingproceduresoffabricateddevicesindependently,followingtraining.
• Havegoodcompetenceandexperienceofrelevantcomputersoftwaresystemstofollowandprocessroutinetasksaccurately,recordingallworkscarriedoutfortraceability.
• Haveagoodunderstandingofscheduledroutinecalibrationandmonitoringtasks.
• Support corrective/preventive actions, problem solving, failure analysis, process qualification, and root cause investigations for areas of responsibility.
• Assists in defining the scheduled routine calibration and monitoring, performing regular daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
• Performotherfunctionsanddutiesasrequired.

• Experience Requirementsforthe Characterization Engineer –P2:
• Advancedexperiencein Characterizationorequivalentmanufacturingfield.
• 7+Yearsexperiencein Characterizationorequivalentcombinationofeducation,experience and/orknowledgeisdesirable.
• Experience of working in Characterization or Engineering functions.
• Experience of working effectively in cross-functional teams.

• Qualification Requirements for the Characterization Engineer – P2:
• Level4-5
  
  Qualificationor2-Year/associate’sdegreeinengineeringorrelatedtechnicalfield.
• Specialized technical qualifications relevant to the role.
