We are seeking a Senior Advanced Engineering Technician to support the design, fabrication, integration, and testing of complex mission-critical hardware systems. In this role, you'll work closely with Hardware Engineering teams on prototype and pre-production builds, helping identify improvements, resolve integration challenges, and support product development from concept through production readiness.

What You'll Do:
  • Support electrical and mechanical prototype and pre-production builds.
  • Fabricate and assemble cable harnesses, wiring assemblies, chassis, and subsystem hardware.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, diagrams, and interconnect documentation.
  • Perform system and subsystem integration activities using hand tools and assembly equipment.
  • Execute fabrication, assembly, testing, checkout, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Perform circuit board rework, including replacement of surface mount and through-hole components.
  • Implement white-wire modifications and engineering change updates.
  • Identify build, integration, and manufacturability improvements and provide feedback to engineering teams.
Job Requirements What You'll Bring:
  • Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related discipline; or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting hardware assembly, system integration, prototype builds, or engineering development programs.
  • 5+ years of experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
  • 5+ years of experience fabricating cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, chassis assemblies, and electromechanical systems.
  • 2+ years of experience performing circuit board rework involving surface mount and through-hole components.
  • 2+ years of experience performing functional testing, troubleshooting, and hardware checkout activities.
What Sets You Apart:
  • IPC J-STD-001 Certified IPC Specialist (CIS) certification.
  • Experience soldering under a microscope.
  • Experience using pin and socket crimp tools.
  • Familiarity with military-style connectors such as D38999.
  • Strong understanding of the hardware development lifecycle from prototype through production.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to identify integration improvements.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience supporting defense, aerospace, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong team-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to understand and apply complex specifications, requirements, standards, and engineering practices.
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and drug screen.
  • Overtime:
    May be required based on program schedules and business needs.
  • Work Environment:
    Advanced engineering and manufacturing environment supporting complex electrical and mechanical systems.
