Routing Supervisor; Warehouse

Description

Schedule and routes all customer orders for delivery.

Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

• Ensure timely delivery of all customer orders.
• Develops and maintains customer delivery schedule based on delivery priorities; ensures that resources (truck and delivery personnel) are utilized with maximum efficiency and without costly delivery errors.
• Ensures that customer invoices are printed and batched by delivery route.
• Works closely with night warehouse management to ensure proper loading of customer shipments.
• Daily communication with sales representatives and warehouse management concerning customer deliveries.
• Keep attendance

• Ability to quickly learn new industry‑specific computer systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers as well as sales and warehouse staff.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team oriented environment.

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Prior experience using Roadnet, Shiraz & Axapta systems

• Work is strenuous in nature requiring frequent lifting of objects weighing up to 40 pounds and the regular lifting of objects weighing in excess of 40 pounds
• Work requires the employee to bend, kneel, crouch, crawl or reach as may be necessary to accomplish tasks
• Work requires some level of concentration to effectively execute routine tasks
• Works in a warehouse environment with occasional exposure environmental factors such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold or chemicals
• Potential for accidents resulting in injury and loss of work time due to physical nature of work and exposure to hazards such as electricity, heights, operation of material conveyance vehicles and equipment
