Job DescriptionAs the Contents Restoration Job Coordinator & Crew Leader, you will oversee the packing out of residential properties affected by disasters, ensuring that all items—furniture, electronics, textiles, and personal belongings—are carefully and efficiently handled, packed, and transported. You will lead and supervise a team of restoration technicians, ensuring high-quality service, safety, and organization throughout the entire process.
Requirements- Professionalism, people-oriented and highly organized.
- Applicant must be able to pass background check and possess clean driving record (must be able to drive company vans and trucks).
- Ability to consistently lift and carry up to 100 lbs. or more on a daily basis (consisting of bags of clothes to electronics and furniture).
- Coordination:
Lead and coordinate the packing out of homes and properties, ensuring that all items are carefully cataloged, packed, and prepared for restoration or storage. Customer contact and follow up through delivery of goods - Team Leadership:
Supervise a team of restoration crew members, providing guidance, training, and ensuring high standards of quality and professionalism are met. - Inventory Management:
Ensure an accurate inventory of all items is recorded using tracking software, and maintain a detailed list of each item’s condition, location, and treatment plan. - Handling Special Items:
Manage delicate, high-value, or fragile items such as electronics, artwork, and textiles with care and precision. - Communication:
Maintain clear communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and the restoration team to ensure a seamless process and excellent customer experience. - Packing & Transportation:
Handle and oversee the proper packing, labeling, and transportation of belongings to storage or restoration facilities. - Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all safety protocols and industry best practices are followed during all stages of the restoration process. - Quality Control:
Perform final inspections of the packed items and job site to ensure everything is done to the highest standards.
- Full-time position
- Job hours are typically Monday – Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm, overtime may be available weekly, and we also work several Saturdays. You will be on call (emergency response) periodically.
- Hourly wage starts at $20 to $22/hour
