Senior Chemical Process Engineer – Manufacturing Troubleshooting & Process Optimization

We are seeking a Senior Chemical Process Engineer to support manufacturing operations at a chemical production facility. This role will serve as a key technical resource during weekend operations, driving process performance, equipment reliability, product quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide manufacturing troubleshooting and technical support for daily plant operations, equipment startup, and commissioning activities.
- Lead process optimization projects to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and waste reduction.
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify opportunities for process enhancements and operational improvements.
- Support product transfer and scale-up activities from R&D into manufacturing.
- Execute equipment commissioning, startup, and validation activities.
- Develop and maintain required engineering and compliance documentation, including IQ/OQ/PQ
, P&IDs, SOPs, MOCs, PHAs, and PSSRs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering required.
- 4–7 years of experience in chemical manufacturing
, process development, troubleshooting, and optimization. - Experience with project management in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of batch reaction chemistry, filtration, powder drying, distillation, acids, and solvents is preferred.
- Experience with equipment validation, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and independent decision-making skills.
- Estimated salary range: $130K - 145K.
- Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
