Pay rate: $30.30 – $36.19 per hour.

• $2,500 Stay Bonus ($1,250 after 6 months; $1,250 after 1 year)

• Diagnose and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and perform required repairs.
• Install and dismantle equipment, welding, pipe fitting, and other tasks as required.
• General mechanics, pneumatics and power transmission equipment repairs related to wire and cable equipment; operate lathes, milling machines, drill presses and other machine shop equipment without direction.
• Perform preventive maintenance procedures, 5S activities and participate in continuous improvement events.
• Maintain work area in a safe and orderly condition at all times.
• Ensure all products meet requirements as defined by the Plant’s Quality Management Systems.
• Comply with all applicable safety procedures and ISO
  14001 EMS guidelines.
• Work overtime or on different schedules as required and on short notice.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
• Have all necessary mechanics’ tools.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.

• Some manufacturing experience preferred or demonstrated mechanical ability in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must complete OJT for specific job classification, as required, in a timely manner.

• Excel in quality workmanship and sustain a professional demeanor.
• Work independently according to verbal and written instructions.
• Learn basic computer transactions and inputs; become certified SAP User.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Maintain proficiency in required job skills.
• Capable of lifting or moving 50 lbs. and occasionally lifting or moving 75 lbs.
• Able to distinguish different colors.
