Dock Worker

Description

Sullivan Tire, an employee‑owned company, has an opportunity for a Dock Worker. The Dock Worker position efficiently and accurately unloads, stacks, loads, and weaves tires on and off company vehicles.

• Safely and efficiently unload tires from company vehicles onto pallets following best practice standards and company procedures.
• Verifies and confirms the paperwork and physical inventory are identical.
• Assist in safely loading of outbound product onto company vehicles following best practice standards and company procedures.
• Operate company equipment including forklift and pallet jack safely.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Follow all operational procedures to protect our assets.
• Adhere to internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Perform other distribution‑related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certified.

• Commitment to teamwork, a positive attitude, and customer focused.
• Understand the importance of being accountable.
• Physically demanding work. Ability to lift 150 pounds frequently.
• Able to be on feet for long periods of time.
