- Compensation: $378 per day (minimum) Bi-Weekly Pay
- Schedule: Early start time, local routes, home daily;
Monday–Friday (Saturdays as needed)

Food and food service delivery drivers fulfill a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. Drivers ensure customers receive products on time and in good condition, and they represent the face of the company by building lasting relationships with customers.
The CDL-B Driver is responsible for driving a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, including local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, overnight, and drive-and-drop routes, delivering and unloading food and related products to customers in a safe and timely manner in accordance with Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Communicates and interacts professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, ensuring questions are answered accurately and promptly.
Functions as a team member and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
- Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections of tractor/truck and trailer per DOT regulations; ensure safety standards are met and take appropriate action as needed.
- Report safety issues and/or repairs required.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies; immediately report hazards; inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight.
- Perform count checks of items and verify customer invoices for loaded products.
- Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly related to freight.
- Move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed.
- Drive to and deliver customer orders according to the predetermined route schedule.
- Unload products, transport to designated customer storage areas.
- Perform damage control checks, scan items, and notify supervisor about removals per company policy.
- Verify delivery with customer and obtain proper signatures.
- Collect money (cash or checks) where required.
- Load customer returns onto trailer and secure doors.
- Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are properly secured.
- Unload damaged goods and returns and process paperwork at check-in.
- Unload all equipment, remove trash from trailers as required.
- Complete daily hours-of-service log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
- Perform general housekeeping in tractor and loading dock area; keep trailers clean.
- At end of shift, secure equipment and complete necessary paperwork.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Valid CDL-B
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Meet all state licensing/certification requirements (where applicable)
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for past 3 years
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Attains or has valid DOT Health Card and/or ability to secure a new DOT Health Card
- Able to hand-lift and use two-wheeler, lift gate, and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight up to 60–90 pounds depending on location
- Valid CDL B with no restrictions
- Air-Brake Endorsement
- Experience with onboard computer/electronic log system (e.g., People Net)
- Experience with handheld delivery scanning (e.g., POD)
- Customer service-related work experience
