Warehouse Associate (Selector) – Boston

Established in 2006, Quality Custom Distribution Services LLC (QCD) is a custom last‑mile distribution company headquartered in Frisco, Texas, serving thousands of restaurants across the United States.

• Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks, forklifts (forklift certification required).
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards.
• Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory.
• Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols.

• Use handheld scanners to pick and pack customer orders accurately.
• Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food products.
• Valid forklift certification and at least 6 months of safe operation.
• Strong reading/math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation.
• Use a voice‑directed picking system ('VoCollect headset') to accurately select and prepare orders.

• Comfort working in varying temperatures, including freezer and cooler environments.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners (preferred).

• Full‑time, on‑site in a temperature‑controlled warehouse (dry, cooler freezer:
  
  -5 °F to 38 °F).
• Primarily a 5‑day work week, with shifts usually starting at 11:00 am–7:30 pm.
• Physically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing/walking for extended periods.

• $24.00 /hr.
• Weekly pay (every Friday).
