Position Description
Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Taunton, Massachusetts — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.
Pay & Schedule- Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour
- Schedule:
Monday‑Friday 6:00 am‑2:30 pm

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months of related warehouse experience required (one year or more preferred)
- Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (stand‑up & sit‑down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc.) and maintain them (change battery, recognize issues); intermediate skill required
- May be required to operate manual or automated equipment (packaging line); intermediate preferred
- Powered industrial truck certification
- Basic English reading, math skills for safety, work instructions, policies
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Data entry into WMS systems
- Work overtime as assigned

- Multi‑tasking, organization, time‑management, detail orientation, excellent follow‑up
- Package, kit, and/or assemble orders and materials.
- Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure correct scanning; train dock employees on procedures; secure facility at shift end; investigate/resolve scanning issues and housekeeping; perform picking and packing; check for product or container damage.
- Perform assigned tasks per location policies and procedures, including material handling within logical transactions.
- Execute material moves with associated physical/logical transactions.
- Participate in workgroup and team activities for self‑improvement and warehouse operations improvement.
- Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Some positions require additional screening, including employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check and a road test, and/or background or badge requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
