Warehouse Forklift Operator 1st Shift

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Taunton, Massachusetts. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

Hourly Pay: $22.93 per hour.

Schedule:

1st Shift Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One or more years of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid forklift operator license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a diverse environment
• Highly thorough and dependable
• Punctual with good attendance record
• Minimal supervision required
• High initiative and accuracy even under pressure
• Ability to lift or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Use health and safety methods
• Available for flexible shifts
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Maintain performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Accurately pick and pack, audit, tote induction, staging of products, and load/unload trucks
• Handle day-to-day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hour of production
• Perform other duties as assigned
