This role is essential for facilitating communication for deaf and hard-of-hearing students throughout a school district near Tavares, FL. What you'll need:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in American Sign Language (ASL), Interpreting, or a related field
• National certification, such as NIC (National Interpreter Certification) from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), or BEI credential
• Experience working as a Sign Language Interpreter, preferably in an educational setting
• Ability to complete time-sensitive credentialing, including the district's specific onboarding and documentation
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and interpretation skills
• Flexibility to work on-site, assigned to one or more schools (assignments and caseload TBD)
